Julianne Moore

Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne is a Hollywood actor, writer and best-selling novelist. Her talent has earned her recognition across the world. She's the daughter of a Sagittarius born on the 3rd of December 1960 in North Carolina. She's the oldest of three siblings born in the home of Peter Moore Smith, a paratrooper and Anne a psychologist. She's of Scottish-English descent. In the course of her father's employment, the Moore family was often moved and she had to work hard to make friendships, or to keep ones. Moore was in the class of Frankfurt American High School in Germany as her parents moved there. She began performing on stage. She graduated in 1983 with a Master of Fine Arts degree from Boston University. After graduating, Moore moved to New York where she started her professional career in off-Broadway theatre. After graduation, Moore began her off-Broadway career in New York. In 1985 Moore made her screen debut in an episode of The Edge of Night. The following year, she played in the roles of Frannie as well as Sabrina Hughes in As the World Turns which became her break. The show aired up to 1988, and she won a Daytime Emmy Award for her performance. She made her film debut in 1990 when she starred in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie the film she later described as a horrible low-budget movie. Short Cuts (1997) and 3 Women (1993), each Robert Altman productions, were her first film. In the latter, she received several awards and praise from critics. Moore landed her first leading role on the screen in Safe (1995). Steven Spielberg chose Moore to portray the role of the protagonist in Jurassic Park: The Lost World. The movie was one of the most popular movies released that year. She was awarded an SAG Award for her performance in Magnolia. The Hours was her co-starring performance in 2002. it received nine Academy Award nominations with Nicole Kidman. Moore was also in The Forgotten (2003), Freedomland (2005), Shelter (2010) and many others. Non-Stop aired in the year 2014. Moore has been featured in many movies and television shows. Her most recent leading roles is in 2022: When You Finish Securing the World. Her acting career in Hollywood is well established as well as her work as an author of children's novels. She released her first book in 2007 Freckleface Strawberry and quickly became an N.Y.T. best-seller, leading to it being adapted to a series as well as a musical. Moore also wrote her memoir My Mom is a Foreigner in the year 2013. Moore is a renowned writer and actress. The personal details of her life is therefore in the realm of the public domain. In 1984 she married John Robin and in 1995 they divorced. Bart Freundlich and Moore had two kids together. Moore's life is all about her children, friends, and profession.
